ABOUT

Dr. MaryAnn Diorio is a Certified Life Coach, a Certified Health Coach, and a Certified Biblical Health Coach who has been in practice for nearly 25 years. She is also a Certified Behavioral Consultant, and a Licensed Minister. Dr. MaryAnn graduated from the Life Coach Institute where she studied under the outstanding tutelage of renowned Christian psychologist, Dr. Shad Helmstetter.

Dr. MaryAnn holds the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the University of Kansas and the Doctor of Ministry (DMin) degree in Biblical Counseling from Christian Leadership University She is also a graduate of the RHEMA Correspondence Bible School, a graduate of the Caring for God’s People program under the auspices of the American Association of Chistian Counselors (AACC) Light University, and a graduate of the Institute for Motivational Living (IML). She is a lifetime member of Christian Coaches Network International (CCNI).

In addition to coaching, Dr. MaryAnn is a former university professor of Romance Languages and holds the PhD in French with a concentration in Comparative Literature, the Master of Arts (MA) degree in Italian Language and Literature, and the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Writing Popular Fiction. Dr. MaryAnn coaches from a Biblical perspective. This means that she bases all of her coaching on the Bible. She describes her coaching method as follows: “When I coach, I hold the Holy Spiit’s hand with my right hand and the client’s hand with my left. My job is to serve as a conduit for the Holy Spirit’s wisdom to flow through me to my client, for only God truly ows what my client needs.”
